Educational institutions closed in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Sept 9: All colleges and higher secondary schools in Chitwan have been shut down on Friday protesting deadly attack on a University teacher at Jana Adarsh Multiple Campus Kamal Raj Pathak.



Public Campus University Teachers Association, Chitwan has called bandh of educational institutions in the district. [break]



Issuing a press release, President of the Association Sharad Kumar Bartola demanded action against those involved in the incident and measures to improve law and order situation of the district.



An unidentified gang had attacked Pathak with sharp weapon on last Wednesday. He is undergoing treatment in the capital.



Pathak is central secretariat member of the CPN-UML-aligned Youth Association of Nepal (YAN) as well as advocate by profession.
