KATHMANDU, August 1: The Election Commission (EC) has approved election programs for the election for seats under both proportional electoral system and First-past-the-post (FPTP).
A meeting of the constitutional body held in the capital on Thursday endorsed about two-month long election programs for electing seats under both proportional electoral system and First-past-the-post (FPTP) staring from September 23.[break]
The EC has registered 23 more parties with the view to the November 19. The constitutional body on Thursday also allocated election symbols for those parties.
