Driving license service on Nagarik App suspended

Driving license-related services available through the Nagarik App have been suspended after the Transport Management Department’s data center at New Baneshwar was vandalized and set on fire.

KATHMANDU, Sept 26:  Driving license-related services available through the Nagarik App have been suspended after the Transport Management Department’s data center at New Baneshwar was vandalized and set on fire.



The incident caused severe damage to the system, leading to a complete halt in license services through the app, according to a notice issued by Nagarik App.

Although the services are currently inaccessible, the Department of Transport Management has confirmed that user data remains safe as backups were secured earlier.
