Donations made for construction of FNJ building

TANAHUN, Aug 29: Various organizations have donated Rs. 55,600 for the construction of the under -construction building of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ), Tanahun.



Various eight VDCs including Ghiring Sundhara, Chhang, Dharampani, Bhirkot, Chokchisapani, Ghansikuwa, Thaprek and Arunodaya donated money for the same, said FNJ Tanahu Chapter President Prem Prasad Paudel.[break]



So far some 16 VDCs have donated for the building, said FNJ District Vice Chairman SB Nepali.



On Tuesday, the Nepal Nai Sangh also donated Rs. 1,160 and former chairman of Tanahu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) Ghanashyam Dewan Rs. 5,100.



A total of Rs. 1,300,000 has been collected and commitment made for the building to be constructed at Byas -2 Media Village, said Treasurer Ujjwol Poudel.
