Domestic liquor seized from ambulance

RAUTAHAT, Oct 9: Police have confiscated domestic liquor from an ambulance at Shiovanagar in Rautahat district on Wednesday.



The domestic liquor was seized in course of checking while the ambulance was returning Gaur from Kathmandu after dropping patient in Kathmandu, said police.[break]



A team of Area Police Office, Shivanagar, seized 30 liters of liquor from the ambulance (Na 1 Jha 967) in course of checking.



The ambulance driver, Nabal Kishor Yadav, said that he brought the liquor after two women requested him to take it to Gaur and gave Rs. 100 as a transportation fare.



The ambulance along with domestic liquor has been sent to the District Police Office, Gaur, for further investigation, according to the Area Police office, Shivanagar.
