Dhital won U-17 women´s 100 meters backstroke with the timing of 1 minute 36.60 seconds while clocked 1 minute 20.41 seconds to clinch gold in U-17 women´s 100 meters freestyle.[break]
She claimed two gold medals in women´s 50 meters backstroke and 50 meters freestyle in open category on Friday clocking 41 seconds and 34.28 seconds respectively.
"It felt good to win 10 gold medals in the championship for which I had trained hard," said Dhital.
She finished second in women´s 200 meters individual medley, where Karishma Karki won gold with a timing of 3 minutes 9.06 seconds.
Meanwhile, Dhital was disqualified in women´s 100 meters breaststroke in open category, where Bibidha Rimal produced a timing of 1 minute 31.44 seconds to win gold.
Anamol Gandhi of Kendriya Viddyalaya won gold in men´s 100 meters butterfly of open category clocking 1 minute 16.31 seconds while Banin Sensha Shrestha won men´s 200 meters butterfly with the timing of 3 minutes 4.81 seconds while he won men´s 50 meters breaststroke finishing it in 34.62 seconds.
Shirish Gurung won men´s 200 meters individual medley clocking 2 minutes 47.63 seconds and men´s 200 meters backstroke with a timing of 3 minutes 2.72 seconds.
Men´s 100 meters freestyle gold in open category was won by Olympian Prasiddha Jung Shah with a timing of 1 minute 4.56 seconds.
Pushpa Raj Shahi stood first in the men´s 50 meters backstroke as he completed the swim in 34.44 seconds in open category.
The swimming championship was organized by Nepal Swimming Association recognized by National Sports Council.
