Dipendra Airee's half century and Lalit Singh Bhandari's four-wicket haul became instrumental in Dhangadhi's victory that had lost previous two matches in a row.
Meanwhile, Kathmandu was knocked out of the tournament with three defeats and a win while Dhangadhi kept mathematical chance of advancing into the semifinals with the win. Region No 6 (Baitadi) and APF Clubs, with a match deficit, are jointly on top of the standings with four points.
In the match played at Tribhuvan University Ground in Kirtipur, Dhangadhi scored 218 losing all its wickets in 49.4 overs.
Dipendra scored 51-runs off 76-balls with four boundaries and Skipper Raju Rijal contributed important 47 runs facing 63 balls. His innings included four fours. He also shared a 75-run stand with Dipendra for the sixth wicket.

However, Dhangadhi had a shaky start losing three wickets with 31 runs on board at 11.1 overs. Kathmandu bowlers kept up the pressure on Dhangadhi bagging two more wickets within 17 overs.
But, Raju and Dipendra rescued Dhangadhi from 53/5 to 128/6 before Raju was sent to pavilion by Aashish Pokhrel of Kathmandu.
Dhangadhi's Arjun Chapagain remained not out on 24-runs off 18-balls smashing a six and two fours.
Anil Adhikari of Kathmandu bagged five wickets and Ritesh Singh took two wickets.
However, Anil's contribution went in vain as Kathmandu was bundled out for 131 runs in 33 overs. Rupesh Shrivastav contributed highest 28 runs off 55 balls that included four boundaries. Ritesh Singh remained not out on 21-runs off 28-balls hitting three fours. Prakash Bista added 20 runs off 25 balls.
Dhangadhi's Lalit Singh claimed four wickets giving away 30 runs in nine overs. Man-of-the-match Dipendra and Sanjay Pant took two wickets each.
