KATHMANDU, Aug 27: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress (NC) and former Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, is leaving for South Africa on Monday to take part in the meeting of the 24th Congress of the Socialist International to be held at Cape Town from August 30 to September 1.
According to Deuba´s press aide, Badri Sigdel, Deuba, who is also Vice-President of the South Asia chapter of the Socialist International, is leaving for South Africa at 11:00 pm today to take part in the meeting on a flight of Qatar
