Dead body of girl missing in Narayani River found

KATHMANDU, March 3: The dead body of a girl, who went missing in the Narayani River while taking selfie on Sunday, was found early morning on Thursday. Bismita Gyawali, 18, of Gaidakot municipality was missing for the last five days.

According to the Chitwan District Police Office, the search for the girl was being carried out since the day of the incident but they were able to find the body only on Thursday.Gyawali and her friend Namrata Sapkota fell into the river on Sunday while trying to take selfies from mobile phone. Namrata was rescued alive immediately while Gyawali had gone missing since then.

Police informed that they found the body of Gyawali from the same place where she fell.
