The Maoist prepared the draft for the people´s war living at the same house, said Dahal recalling his memory.
The press has been re-established in the memory of Bal Krishna Paudel, who was arrested from the press while he was working by a troop of Nepal Army and was killed later.
On the occasion, Prachanda said he had prepared the political document for the first conference of the then CPN-Maoist and political proposal for the third plenum. Prachanda added that he had the emotional relation to the Thapa´s family. However, he did not deliver the political speech in the program.
Senior leader of UCPN (Maoist) Vice-chairman Mohan Baidhya also used to live at the house on rent before the decade-long arm conflict. Party´s other leaders including some foreign leaders had taken shelter at the house during the people´s war, said Thapa.
On the occasion, Prachanda awarded Paudel´s wife Rukmini and Coordinator of the press Tek Bahadur Thapa.
Maoist top leader Dahal released books ´Barga Sangharsha Balidan and Dalit´ written by Indrajit Pariyar and ´Bharkharai, Baisakhi Tekera and Birsanai Lageka Kura´ by Indra Prasad Regmi during the program.
