Dahal discusses political impasse with Veep Jha

KATHMANDU, June 6: Vice President Parmananda Jha and UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal held talks on contemporary political situation of the country.

In the meeting held at the Vice President´s residence at Lainchaur on Wednesday morning, they discussed topics as how to ease the political and constitutional crisis emerged in the country and the efforts being done by the parties to that connection.



On the occasion, Vice President Jha urged Dahal in his capacity as the chairman of the largest political party of the country to proceed ahead by bringing all the political parties to a compromise, said Shiva Khakurel, Dahal´s aide.



The Vice President also advised Dahal to work towards charting out a way for transforming the rift among the political parties into a compromise so as to conclude the peace and constitution.



The UCPN (Maoist) chairman held a meeting with the Vice President in connection with building an environment for political consensus, it is stated.
