CPN-United Marxist expels politburo, central members

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: Communist Party of Nepal (United Marxist) has said that it has expelled its politburo member Prabhu Narayan Chaudhary and central members Ekraj Pandey, Jay Prakash Bharat, Achyut Gyawali and Ambika Thaiba from the party´s general membership. The plenum of the party accused them of promoting factionalism against the party leadership. The plenum took the action for their activities intended against the party interest, said a statement issued by the party´s Chairman Hemanta Bahadur BC and General Secretary Lok Narayan Subedi.
