CPN-Maoist Chair Baidya calls for urgent dialogue

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya on Saturday issued an appeal for a new political outlet through immediate dialogue among the political parties both inside and outside of the Constituent Assembly (CA) and all other concerned stakeholders.

In a statement, Chairman Baidya said it was an urgent matter to hold a political conference with the participation of the agitating parties.


The party has also warned that the country would plunge into another conflict if its proposal were neglected and constitution drafted in a forceful manner.

The party said the draft of the constitution that belittles backward communities struggling for their rights and sideline the concerned political forces in the agitation was meaningless. RSS
