Vehicles including private motorbikes, those belonging to press, water supply, dairy and diplomatic missions were seen plying along Sallaghari in Bhaktapur to Ratnapark in Kathmandu even though four-wheelers stayed off the road due to fear of possible vandalization.

Not even a single cadre was spotted obstructing the movement of motor-bikes along the six-lane highway neither were there any incidents of vandalization visible.
A huge number of police personnel were mobilized along the highway to prevent any untoward incidents.
However, market places, schools, colleges and factories were remained closed for the fear of vandalization.
11 CPN cadres held for enforcing Nepal banda

Some cadres of CPN Maoist were reportedly arrested for coercing shopkeepers to shut down their shops in Baglung district.
Chand-led Maoist organized today's banda in protest of India-China bilateral agreement on Lipulekh--a piece of land in Nepal - bordering the two neighboring countries.

The agreement was reached while keeping Nepal in the dark during Indian PM Narendra Modi's China visit few months ago.
