Couple injured in Birgunj blast

BIRGUNJ, April 13: A couple was injured when an unidentified group detonate a bomb in Birgunj at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Bhushan Shrivastav and his wife Sangita Shrivastav were sitting on the verandah of their house in Birgunj Municipality-19 when the bomb exploded, police said.



Bhushan received injuries on different parts of his body while Sangita was slightly injured in the incident. The injured couple is undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-regional Hospital in Birgunj. No group has claimed the blast.
