"The Maoist is trampling on each and every agreement and accord thinking that it can launch a revolt if the new constitution misses the extended deadline," he said.
Saying that the Maoist belief to keep its army with a separate identity is against the peace agreement, he said, "The tendency to ignore pluralism even after the end of the conflict is totalitarianism. This will kill democracy."
Mahat, also a member of the Special Committee for integration, rehabilitation and supervision of People´s Liberation Army combatants, accused the Maoist party of trying to create obstacle for the completion of the peace process and constitution drafting.
