Parsa in-charge of a little known armed group, Pratik Group, Jitendra Giri alias Raj Kumar is among the arrested. Organising a press conference here Friday, the District Police Office, Parsa, said they were arrested on different occasions.[break]
Superintendent of Police Rajendra Man Shrestha said Giri, who was held along with arms, was involved in more than two dozens of criminal cases.
An Indian national, Kaniya Gupta, who is affiliated with the group, was also nabbed along with weapons from Birgunj-18, Shrestha said.
Similarly, Jitendra Kalawar alias Chandan Singh of Bishrampur in Parsa was also held along with arms, according to the police. Bira Sahani was the fourth person arrested by the police.
"All the four were involved in murder, looting, abduction, extortion and other criminal cases," Shrestha said.
