Close coordination among ministries to be set up

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: The government operations department of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) has decided to ensure close coordination among all the ministries including the ones led by other political parties.



A meeting of the department Tuesday morning decided to bring a relief package to people soon. Finance Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, who is chief of the department, said the department will cooperate with the prime minister in running the government more effectively.



The department has been given the responsibility of making recommendations to party headquarters on political appointments in the government.
