SUNSARI, March 3: Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba said the formation of a chief justice-led government will not violate the principle of separation of powers.

Speaking at a program organized by Reporters Club Nepal in Itahari on Monday, Deuba argued that there should be no problem with the separation of powers as the CJ-led government will be formed just for the purpose of holding elections. [break]

He said new elections to Constituent Assembly are possible to hold by June, if not by May later this year. He also said an internal rift in the party is still existing but downplayed it saying it is quite natural to have differences in any political party.
