CIAA informed about PU corruption

KATHMANDU, Sept. 11: Students associated with Nepal Students´ Union, All Nepal National Free Students´ Union, and All Nepal Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) have submitted a memorandum to the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday, drawing its attention towards the corruption-slurred officials in the Purvanchal University.



Submitting the memorandum to CIAA Secretary Bhagawati Prasad Kafle, the student associations demanded investigation on the irregularities and corruption rife in the University.



The officials in the University had embezzled hundred of thousand rupees and provided affiliation without meeting criteria, said NSU central member Ashesh Ghimire.
