"The CIAA, through the district administration office Sunsari, summoned the Institute´s VC Dr Balbhadra Prasad Das, examinations Dean Dr Dhruba Kumar Upreti, Rector Dr Bikram Prasad Shrestha, Examination Assistant Dean Dr Shivendra Jha and Technical Assistant Gaurav Sanjel at the CIAA office to investigate the matter," said a statement issued on Sunday by CIAA Spokesperson Shridhar Sapkota.[break]
Earlier the anti-corruption body had seized all the documents and computers for the investigation after it received complaints on alleged irregularities on MBBS and BDS examinations.
The CIAA said it took up the issue as there were complaints that the institution made serious irregularities by making public the results times with two different name lists, and admitting an alternative candidates while excluding the principal ones.
