CIAA arrests Under Secretary Nepal

REPUBLICA, March 4: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Sunday arrested Under Secretary at Foreign Employment Promotion Board Murari Nepal on the charge of financial irregularities.



According to Bhagawati Kafle, acting chief of CIAA, Nepal was arrested for misappropriating huge amount of money when he was a Local Development Officer (LDO) in Bara. Meanwhile, CIAA has also seized the files related to compensation to Mugu locals from the Ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation.
