“We have introduced various dairy products like fresh milk in 500 ml pack, yogurt, butter, cream, paneer, ghee and dairy whitener. Our products are tested in modern laboratories before they are launched in the market,” Rajesh Babu Shrestha, executive director of the company, said. [break]
In the first phase, the company plans to market Rahul brand of fresh milk in Narayanghat, Bharatpur, Tandi, Sauraha and Mugling in Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Makawanpur, Gorkha and Tanahun among others.
The company has a daily production capacity of 15 tons of powdered milk. Apart from regular production, the company plans to produce fat and non-fat powdered milk from 140,000 liters milk.
“We were originally scheduled to begin production from July last year. But it couldn´t materialize due to technical glitches,” said Uday Raj Panday, the industry´s head.
The industry, using Germany technology, was established at the cost of Rs 580 million at Thimura near Ramnagar.
