Chinese army chief visiting Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 14: Chief of the People´s Liberation Army (PLA) of China General Chen Bingde is visiting Nepal on March 23 upon the invitation his Nepali counterpart Chhatraman Singh Gurung.



According to senior government officials, 15 high-ranking Chinese officials will accompany the Chinese army chief. [break]



During his visit, the Chinese army chief will meet President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal and army officials.
