KATHMANDU, Oct 7: China has started preparations to send new envoy to Nepal. After the United States of America and the United Kingdom changed their ambassadors to Nepal, China has also initiated the process to change its envoy to Nepal.
China's Foreign Ministry informed that a new ambassador will replace current Chinese ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai once a new government is formed in Nepal.
What Nepal can learn from China
However, the ministry has yet to finalize the new ambassadorial candidate. Sources in Beijing said an expert on South Asia will be selected as the new ambassador.
Wu has been working in Nepal since January 2013.
