Central Committee can recall Khanal from govt: Singh

KATHMANDU, August 4: Siddhi Lal Singh, Chairman of Advisory Council and Member of Disciplinary Commission of CPN-UML said on Thursday that if the party Chairman and Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal does not abide by the Central committee´s (CC) decision then he can be removed from the party chairman´s post.



He warned that he could be sacked from the post by calling special convention if he does not agree with the decision that CC meeting will take on August 21. [break]



Speaking at a interaction program organized by the Reporter´s club, Singh said that by ignoring the SC´s decision and going ahead with the oath ceremony, he breached the party´s discipline and for that party can take action against him.



He further added that no one is above the party and everyone should agree with the party´s mutual decision.



He also said that the upcoming CC meeting will discuss the matter seriously and can come up with a decision to recall him from the government.
