The deadline given to CC to resolve the disputed issues in the new constitution is over today. However, the leaders failed to meet the deadline.

“We unanimously asked the BAC to give us extra 15 days to resolve the issues,” CC Chairman Nilambar Acharya said.

The BAC is likely to hold a meeting today to deliberate on the CC’s request.

The CC is yet to resolve the major knotty issues of federalism and system of governance among others.
