Chitra’s wife and his family members are at the hospital.
“I had raised fund amounting to Rs 200,000 for Chitra´s treatment and was preparing to hand it over to him. Unfortunately, I heard the bad news,” said Sharma.

Dr Chitra was undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Grande International Hospital for past few days.
Earlier, in August, Wagle, was discharged from New Delhi-based Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, after 14 months long treatment. The doctors at New Delhi had said his treatment was not possible.
Fund worth millions of rupees had been raised for Wagle´s treatment from Nepal and abroad.
Originally from Rupandehi district, Dr Wagle had been serving as a medical superintendent in Arghakhanchi District Hospital before he left for treatment.
Wagle is credited for initiating round-the-clock service including emergency and other facilities in the Arghakhanchi District Hospital.
