KATHMANDU, Feb 10: A large number of party cadres, leaders, well-wishers and commoners have thronged the Dashrath Stadium from early morning today to pay their tributes to the Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.

The NC leaders who were busy in the districts for the party's 13th general convention have arrived in the capital to express their heartfelt condolences to the deceased leader. More cadres are arriving from Koirala's home district Banke, Chitwan, Baglung and others.

The last rites of Koirala are being performed with state honour today as per the government decision.

The government on Tuesday had given responsibility to Home Minister Shakti Bahadur Basnet to make overall preparations and coordination for performing the last rites of Koirala with state honours. RSS
