The meeting has also appointed Chief Secretary Lila Mani Pokharel as Chairman of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and Rameshwor Yadav as the Executive Director of the NEA.
Likewise, Digambar Jha has been appointed as chairman of Nepal Telecommunications Authority.
Similarly, the meeting also appointed Jagat Bahadur Tamang as the Member Secretary of the Lumbini Development Trust, Dr Kul Bahadur Rokaya as the Chairman of Karnali Development Commission and Jagdish Bahadur Pal as the Chairman of Far-West Development Commission.
Meanwhile, the meeting has also decided to change the design of the currency notes of Rs 5 and 10.
