CA chair cancels Uganda trip

KATHMANDU, March 13: Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang cancelled a five-day Uganda trip starting March 31.



He was scheduled to attend a program related to parliament. [break]



Nembang had conferred with the CA vice-chairman and chip whips of various political parties before taking the decision.



"I decided to cancel the trip as time for promulgation of the new constitution is approaching," Nembang said.



It is the fifth time the chairman has boycotted the IPO meet. Nepali representatives will not be able to attend the trip after Nembang’s move.
