Earlier this month, Mega Bank had expanded branchless banking service in Farsatikar and Dayanagar of Rupandehi, Sitapur of Banke, Chaumala of Kailali, Rampur of Dang, and Sharadanagar and Khairahani of Chitwan. Mega Bank is planning to commence operation of 24 additional branchless banking outlets within this fiscal year.[break]
Saurabh Photo opens new showroom
KATHMANDU: Saurabh Photo International -- the authorized dealer of Konka, Force and Asano -- has opened an authorized showroom for eastern Nepal. "The new showroom named Pashupati Electronics has been opened to provide home appliances of different brands in the eastern region," the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
Sanjeet Raj Joshi, general manager of the company, said in the statement that the new showroom will also provide after sales service. Customers can get home appliances of Konka, Force, Asano and different other brands at the showroom.
Springwood announces winners
KATHMANDU: Surya Nepal has announced winners for the second edition of ´Springwood Video Ad Contest´. According to a press statement issued by the company, Sumit and Grishma from team Oscar won the contest with 609 likes on Springwood´s Facebook page. Likewise, Sahan and Ukesh from team Anish and Anna and Ishan from team Adish won second and third prize with 606 and 359 likes, respectively. All the winners are from Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM). A total of 15 videos were received from students of different colleges in the contest which started on January 3 and ended on February 14, said the statement. The first, second and third winners won gift vouchers from Springwood worth Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively.
