LG opens smartphone showroom in Butwal

Round Table Nepal gets Rs 1m in donation

Save the Children calls for more resources for maternal, child health
KATHMANDU: Save the Children is joining hands with Him Electronics to hold musical concert with Kutumba, a folk band, in various parts of the country to raise awareness about maternal and child healthcare, says a statement issued by Save the Children. This is a part of the campaign called ´Everyone´ launched by Save the Children to ensure no child under the age of 5 dies from preventable causes. As part of the campaign, Kutumba will hold concerts in Janakpur, Dharan and Kathmandu on November 21, November 24 and December 14 to call on general public to put pressure on the government for allocation of more resources for maternal and child healthcare, provision of better training for health workers and control children mortality rate.
