IoE is preparing to start a two-year Masters Program from July, 2010 with support of the government of Norway.
Bank of Asia ties with NLIC for ILIA
KATHMANDU, April 9: Bank of Asia Nepal Limited on Wednesday signed an agreement with Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) to work as its Institutional Life Insurance Agent (ILIA).
“The bank´s co-operation with NLIC is expected to help in expanding the life insurance business and creating good investment opportunities,” the companies said by issuing a joint statement on Thursday.
The statement further added that the ties between these companies will benefit both parties and provide additional value added service to its costumers.
Hydropower project ready
MANGALBARE, April 9: Three hundred households in Sakphara VDC of Ilam have got electricity facility after the construction of Mabukhola Micro Hydro Project in the village.
The project is the first of its kind in the village. The 33 KW project was constructed on the joint initiatives of Alternative Energy Promotion Center, RRN and local people.
The users´ committee said the project cost around Rs 9 million.
