F-18 energy drink in market
KATHMANDU: Mark Davidson -- a wine importer company in Nepal, has introduced F-18 luxury energy drink in Nepal. According to a press statement issued by the company, the energy drink is combined with cranberry juice and acai fruit drink. Acai fruit juice is found in Brazil and it is being used as a natural energizer in Brazil for centuries by locals, said the statement.
Arjun Bhandari, managing director of the company in the statement said that F -18 energy drink is well known internationally. The retail price of the energy drink per can is Rs 120. Previously, company had introduced F-88 energy drink.
Honda bikers trip to Sukute
KATHMANDU: Motohimalaya in association with Syakar Trading Company organized a daylong road trip to Sukute on Saturday. The road trip was organized exclusively for Honda bikers. According to a press statement issued by the company, there were more than 90 people who registered for the event with more than 50 Honda bikes.
Before the ride, as initiation from Honda Riders Club, funds were collected for the organization named Bal Bhojan that feeds and educates street children said the statement. Event such as swimming, table tennis, pool, dance, tug-of-war, volleyball and music with DJ were organized at Sukute.
The event was organized to promote the movie Highway and the movie stars participated in the ride. Actors joined the riders and Honda bikers had the opportunity to know about the movie directly from the stars said the statement. This was the first event of the Honda Riders Club and Honda will bring more such events in the future too added the statement.
Booking open for Skoda Rapid
KATHMANDU: Skoda M.A.W has opened bookings for its new entry-level sedan Rapid from Monday. According to the press statement issued by the company, Rapid will be available in three variants: Active, Ambition, and Elegance. All the new variants: Active, Ambition, and Elegance, will have petrol engines of 1.6 litre capacities, the highest in its particular price segment said the statement. The company has priced Active at Rs 3.12 million, Ambition at Rs 3.37 million and Elegance at Rs 3.69 million. The cars are available in five colours added the statement.
NIC Bank opens branch in Siraha
KATHMANDU: NIC Bank has opened 36th branch office in Siraha district. The branch was formally inaugurated on Monday by Chief District Officer of Siraha Dhurba Prasad Dhakal and the bank´s chairman, Jagdish Prasad Agrawal, according to a bank statement. "The opening of new branch office in Siraha is expected to provide convenience and make banking services accessible to customers in the area," says the statement. The bank also has a network of 37 ATMs across the country.
Century Bank elects board members
KATHMANDU: Shareholders of Century Commercial Bank have unanimously elected Bisan Shakya, Uma Kumari Shrestha, Laxman Kumar Shrestha and Rabi KC as board members of the category ´A´ financial institution. The election, which was previously postponed, was held last Friday, a statement issued by the bank says. The bank, established in March 2011, was able to generate an operating profit of Rs 4.3 million in the last fiscal year ended July 15. Till the end of last fiscal year, it also managed to collect deposits of Rs 4.46 billion and extend loans of Rs 4.2 billion. The bank has so far opened nine branch offices.
