Bus driver's arm chopped off

ITAHARI, Aug 2: Two youths stopped a passenger bus (Ko 1 Kha 2141) along the Hansposa section of the Koshi highway in Sunsari and chopped off the right arm of the bus driver.



The driver has been identified as Rajesh Shrestha of Dharan.



The youths who were riding a motorcycle (Ko 6 Pa 281) committed the shocking act after the bus driver tried to prevent them from overtaking the bus. Shrestha is receiving treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.



The youths fled after the incident.
