BPKIHS employees on strike

ITAHARI, Feb. 2: Employees and security guards of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) have launched an agitation demanding that the agreement signed with them in the past be implemented and contract system be ended.



The striking employees are also demanding that those suspended workers be recalled, provided them with facility and workers´ representative be inducted in BPKIHS´s working committee.



Information Officer of BPKIHS Bijaya Rimal said that the workers´ strike has affected works and security of the health institution.
