South Asian Games record holder Deepak Bista said players living abroad have done a really good job by honoring the players of Nepal.
Speaking at the function, President of Nepal Boxing Association Ravi Raj Thapa requested Prem Kunwar to introduce sports plans for the betterment of Nepali sports. "Maharjan has crossed the half marathon by winning the medal in the Asian Games. Now his final target is to play in the Olympics," Thapa added.
"We have decided to award $ 3,000, $ 2,000 and $ 1,000 to gold, silver and bronze medalists of the Asian Games respectively, and $ 5,000, $ 3,000 and $ 2,000 to the Olympic medalists," Rai, president of the Incorporation said.
