Book revenue provided to Chepang community

CHITWAN, April 15: Money received by selling a book ´Bhumadhya Rekha´ penned by journalist Rabindra Mishra was provided for the education of children in Chepang community.



Miteri Foundation Nepal, Chitwan, provided a purse of Rs. 228,000 received from journalist Mishra, Fine Print--the book publication house-- and industrialist Upendra Mahato for the education and upliftment of the economic standard of the children of the Chepang community, said chairman of the Foundation Ekal Silwal.[break]



The foundation will extend other supports to uplift the Chepang community in the future as well.



Silwal said he established the foundation eight months ago after he heard the news of eight Chepang people´s death after consuming the poisonous mushroom and has been providing different support for the community since then.
