Bomb racket busted

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Two Indian nationals, who are suspected to be involved in trading explosives here, have been arrested from Yangbobahal in Lalitpur on Monday. An investigation team led by Inspector Somendra Singh Rathaur of Metropolitan Crime Investigation Division arrested them in possession of eight socket bombs.



Arun Singh, 33, of Himachal Pradesh and Mohamed Rashid, 38, of Uttar Pradesh have said in their statement to the police that another Indian national had handed them 10 socket bombs of which two were seized by police in Banepa earlier. Both of them have claimed to have links with an underground armed group, Madhesi Tigers.
