Bomb blast in Maoist party office

NEPALGUNJ, March 14: A bomb exploded in the party office of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) at Surkhet Road in Nepalgunj around 8:45 p.m. Saturday. The blast has slightly damaged the office´s shutter, said Inspector of Police Pradip DC. The bomb is believed to be a socket bomb. Details are yet to come.



Earlier in the day, a pressure cooker bomb had exploded in the party office of the Nepali Congress at Surkhet Road in Nepalgunj at 5 a.m.
