BANEPA, April 3: The body of a man abducted by his own wife around six months ago has been found in the forests of Dumja-4, Kusheshwar in Sindhuli district.

The body of Ram Chandra Acharya of Kushadevi-5, Kavre district was found hanging from a tree by locals in December and police in Sindhuli had buried it in the jungle after nobody came to claim it.

Relatives of Acharya identified his watch and clothes after a search team including police inspector Upesh Khadka of Banepa dug out the body following a search. Abductors Devendra Timilsina aka Laxman and Acharya´s wife Bhawani are in detention on a charge of human trafficking.

Bhawani, who got her husband abducted on October 11, confessed her crime only in November and is currently in detention at the Central Jail, Kathmandu. Acharya had returned home in September after working for three years in Malaysia.

Acharya´s father Loknath claimed that there had been arguments between his son and daughter-in-law after the son asked for details of money he had sent in installments from Malaysia.

After escalating tension Bhawani had paid Rs 50,000 to her neighbor Laxman to have her husband disappeared for a month. The police will now charge the duo with murder.
