The BMF, has been enforcing strike in Dhanusha district for the last eight days demanding an autonomous Madhesh province.
The BMF cadres forced the District Police Office (DPO) of Dhanusha to register the case against Shah by shouting slogans and staging demonstrations. They had picketed the police office for almost an hour and demanded the police immediately arrest and take action against Shah.
Meanwhile, BMF says it plans to intensify its strike from Saturday. "We have decided to intensify our banda," said Shesh Narayan Yadav, Dhanusha president of Madheshi Janadhikar Forum. "No motorcycle will be allowed to ply on the streets from Saturday onward."
Meanwhile, an all party-meeting was organized on Friday at District Administration Office (DAO) of Dhanusha after the banda called by the BMF turned violent following the resistance by local businessmen.
The meeting has decided to keep a close tab on "vigilantes" who could infiltrate as the BMF cadres and turn the banda more violent.
