KATHMANDU, Jan 19: Bharatpur Metropolitan City (BMC) Mayor Renu Dahal is set to resign tomorrow (Tuesday).
Dahal, who has completed two terms as mayor, announced the move at a press conference and will contest the House of Representatives election from Chitwan Constituency-3 on March 5.

She follows in the footsteps of Kathmandu Metropolitan Mayor Balendra Shah and Dharan Sub-Metropolitan Mayor Harka Raj Rai Sampang, who also resigned from their mayoral posts to join the HoR race.
