The award carrying a purse of Rs. 25,000 is given by the Ganeshman Singh Child Talent Fund.
Bipashwi, 11, won the Little Miss World 2011 in October in Turkey. Forty contestants from 35 countries participated in the contest.
The award is presented to a child prodigy every year.
Presenting the award amidst a programme here today, former Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission (NPC), Dr. Jagadish Chandra Pokharel stressed that we should not forget the leadership provided by the late leader Ganeshman Singh for empowering the people.
