GAUR, Aug 18: Constituent Assembly (CA) member of the Terai-Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP), Jitendra Sonam has said the constitution drafting process has been stalled due to differing views prevailing among the three major political parties.

At a press conference organized by TMDP, Rautahat District Committee, CA member Sonam made it clear that the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) will not join the government if it was unlikely to form national consensus government within August 21. [break]

The TMDP leader informed he is now visiting various districts to consolidate party organization when the party is mulling to call for its general convention.

The UMDF will stand united on the issues of Madhes and Madhesi, he added.
