KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Nepal Baseball and Softball Association started a seven-day baseball/softball training at Budhanilkantha School, Kathmandu from Wednesday.
Altogether 180 trainees from seven schools and three clubs have registered for the week-long training.

Inter-school baseball tournament will also be played on the last two days, according to Deepak Neupane, secretary of the association.
The participants have been divided into four groups. A seven-member technical team, under the leadership of Clark Lambard, from the USA, is involved in the training.
The two-day school level baseball tournament will be held on Sunday and Monday. Dev Kumar Adhikari, member of National Sports Council, inaugurated the training on Wednesday.
