KIST Bank tied with SBI scoring identical 68/0 in 5 overs but the latter was awarded the match based on more runs scored excluding extras.[break]
Winning the toss, KIST invited SBI to bat first. SBI scored 68/0 in 5 overs with five extra runs. Monish Kumar Shrestha scored 34 not out off 14 balls while Anand Upadhyay scored 22 off 14 balls. For KIST, Manjay Pandey scored 32 off 17 balls while Raju KC scored 30 off 13 balls.
Bank of Asia was the most successful team of the day with two victories. It beat Citizen´s Bank International by six wickets. Batting first, Citizens scored 53/5 with Sharad Pokhrel topscoring with 25 off 12 balls. Diwesh Dangol was the successful bowler for Bank of Asia grabbing three wickets in an over. Bank of Asia reached the target in 3.4 overs with Dangol scoring 32 off 12 balls.
In other match, Bank of Asia defeated Nabil Bank by three runs. It scored 62/2 with Santosh Rathi´s 35 off 15 balls. In reply, Nabil Bank could only manage 59/3. Amit Pokhrel scored 30 off 15 balls.

Likewise, Prime life Insurance, Embassy of Pakistan and Embassy of India registered victory in the first day. Prime Life beat Bottlers Nepal by 23 runs. Prime Life Insurance scored 67/2 and restricted Bottlers´ Nepal to 44 runs. Sundar Adhikari was the highest scorer for Prime Life with 26 runs off 14 balls.
In an exciting match, Embassy of Pakistan registered one run victory over Nepal Bank. Batting first, Embassy of Pakistan scored 65/2. Imtiaz Hussain Raja scored 27 runs off 10 balls. Munir Ahmed´s three wickets restricted Nepal Bank on 64.
Embassy of India registered nine-run victory over Sanima Bikash Bank. Embassy of India scored 62/3 with Bikash Kumar making 24 runs off nine balls. In reply, Sanima Bank could only manage 53/4 despite Sajan Shrestha´s 37 runs.
Similarly, Micromax, Nepal FM and Kantipur Media Group also registered win Sunday.
Micromax registered six wickets victory over International Development Bank (IDB). IDB scored 56/3 with Samir Thakur scoring 21 off seven balls. Micromax reached the target in just 2.5 overs without losing wickets. Sanjay Maharjan scored 33 runs off 14 balls for the winners.
Nepal FM defeated NMB Bank by four wickets. NMB scored 78/2 riding on Mohan KC´s 34 off 13 balls and Rabindra Chand´s 27 off 11 balls. Nepal FM reached the target in 4.3 overs. Niraj Basnet scored 28 runs while Nirmal Simangaida scored 20 runs.
Kantipur Media Group registered five wickets victory over NIC Bank. Batting first, NIC scored 62/2. Ravi Shrestha scored 23 runs off 11 balls. Kantipur successfully chased the target in 4.4 over losing a wicket. Pravin Kumar Karn scored 32 runs off 16 balls.
The tournament started with the match between General Secretary XI and Corporate and Media Team. General Secretary XI registered eight runs victory over the Corporate and Media Team.
With Secretary at Home Ministry Sushil J B Rana scoring 26 not out, General Secretary XI reached 63/2 in allotted five overs. Corporate and Media Team could only manage 55/0 in five overs with Rameshwor Shah scoring 22 off 19 balls.
