Baidya camp making irresponsible statements: Kirati

ITAHARI, Nov 1: Minister for Culture Gopal Kirati on Tuesday accused faction led by UCPN (Maoist) senior leader Mohan Baidya of making irresponsible statements.



He, however, said that the leaders who have differences with the party establishment faction were free to quit the party and choose a separate path. [break]



“Those who don´t want to transform themselves can choose a separate path. This will not affect the party,” said Kirati, who is close to Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.



Speaking to media persons in Duhabi of Sunsari, he termed party´s General Secretary Rambahadur Thapa´s remarks against Chairman Dahal “baseless”.



Recently, Thapa had accused Dahal of dancing to tunes of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), an Indian intelligence agency.



He said the rift in the party would end once the country gets a new constitution.
