Bagmati into second round

KATHMANDU, July 22: Bagmati Modern College on Sunday advanced into the pre-quarterfinal of First Bir Ganeshman Memorial Inter-college Basketball Tournament. In the group A match played at Golfutar, Bagmati defeated Rehdon College 32-29 with 15 points from Nishant Chhyantal.



 With two defeats from as many matches Rehdon is out of the tournament. TIA also booked its place in the second round with a match in hand. In the group E match, NASA beat United Academy 51-31 with 14 points from Om Gurung. In group F, White Gold thumped Classics 10-4.
